Monday: Today in class we worked on planning our Odyssey essays. Students worked on their Argument Packets (found in google classroom) and planned their body paragraphs for their two heroes or two villains.

Thursday: Today in class students completed warm ups that will help them remember the parts of a paragraph and essay in order to prepare them for drafting their argument essays next week.

Friday: Today in class students watched the Odyssey animated movie and held their thinking about the differences between the book and the movie on a sheet. Afterwards, students participated in an activity where they made arguments and counter arguments for which version of the Odyssey is better.
